As you are likely aware, oil prices have surged, and cost of goods and packaging materials keep rising. In the face of these costs, and the continuing increases in imported raw materials and logistics, Shoyeido has been striving to cut costs and redevelop our production system to keep our prices as low as possible. However, after much deliberation, we have deemed it necessary to adjust prices in order to maintain deliverability of genuine, high-quality incense to our customers.

We have been fortunate to keep our prices generally unchanged for more than 25 years. We appreciate your continued patronage, and are grateful for your cooperation and understanding. Best wishes for you continued success in the future.

Ogata Paris is a multi-tiered "modern universe," designed by Mr. Shinichiro Ogata in Paris, France, to convey the spirit of Japanese culture. Within this domain is a new space called KAORI, introduced in April 2022, where the art of fragrance is celebrated. Newly developed products, based on traditional Japanese fragrances, are presented, along with services to create customized fragrances for customers. Shoyeido is engaged and committed to develop and provide the products and services of KAORI.

In accordance with the revision of the tax-free system by the National Tax Administration Agency, procedures for tax-free sales will be computerized.
In line with this change, which takes effect on October 1st, 2021, several Shoyeido stores will adhere to this new system to process tax-free sales, including:
